Introduction

First of all, let me apologise for writing in English. I live in St. Catharines, Ontario Canada. I work at GM Powertrain there and we build engines. We build Corvette, Camaro and other car and truck engines. I have three Camaros myself, a 67 SS350, and 87 Iroc L98 and a 96 SS Camaro Convertible. also greetings from Bavaria, Germany and welcome. St. Catharines - I was there a few years ago (for one night) on the way from Toronto to Niagara Falls.

How did you enjoy the trip? Did you like the area? The Niagara Falls area is more touristy than St. Catharines. Niagara on the Lake is very nice as well. Did you get to go there? A lot of history and Canada's history , but or course, not as much or as far back as Europe's history.
Perhaps, if you come again you can see the GM Powertrain Plant.

The Trip was great, I did it twice, because my fathers cousin lives in Buffalo, NY. Yes in Niagara there is a lot of tourism but the falls are a must see for all tourists. Thank you for your invitation to see the GM Powertrain Plant - it will last a few years for me to come back to Buffalo and Ontario. Most time I spend my holidays in the southern parts of the US, my father in law is from Beaumont, TX.
I think as an insider you can do a lot for the forum keeping us up-to-date with Camaro- and GM-News.

Hello Josef!
I will be retiring on July 1st. after over 31 years but I still have my contacts and I will still be involved in the Annual Show & Shine. The best thing is for everyone to check out our web site for information as it becomes available. I am a moderator so we will update it as it happens. We do have to be careful about the info we provide as I hope you can appreciate. Once again the web site is http://www.gmpowertrain.ca and we build Corvette and both Camaro engines as well as many others. Check out our product line. I can tell you I drove the top model SS Camaro last week with the 6 spped standard and it is a heck of a car. Our LS3 engine makes it scoot along VERY nicely! :-)
